Bike Lobby Days 2026

Join us in Olympia on Tuesday, Jan. 20 and Wednesday, Jan. 21 for WA Bikes Lobby Day!

Do you want everyone in Washington state to have safe streets to bike on? Us too! Bike Day on the Hill 2026 is an opportunity to speak up for biking, walking, and rolling in our communities.

During the upcoming state legislative session, our leaders have the opportunity to protect and strengthen critical investments in safer streets and trails, advance policies that improve bike access, and address the transportation safety crisis.. Our Lobby Days are an opportunity for community members to educate our legislators on the real local impacts of passing these policies – or the consequences of not.

Join us Tuesday, Jan. 20 for an evening reception with legislative leaders and Wednesday, Jan. 21 for meetings at the Capitol with your legislators. Whether you’ve lobbied before or not, we’ll support you so that you’re ready to make an impact with your authentic voice and your personal stories. We’ll host a virtual training session ahead of the event to prepare for your legislator meetings, time and date to come.

For overnight stays, we have a small hotel block for the night of Tuesday, Jan. 20 at the DoubleTree Hilton Hotel in Olympia, just a short walk or comfortable bike ride from the Capitol and downtown. Hotel rooms at the Washington Bikes block rate are $224.48 (inclusive of all taxes and fees).
