{"id":6392,"date":"2014-03-17T09:06:55","date_gmt":"2014-03-17T16:06:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wabikes.org\/?p=6392"},"modified":"2014-03-14T11:58:58","modified_gmt":"2014-03-14T18:58:58","slug":"board-transitions-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wabikes.org\/index.php\/2014\/03\/17\/board-transitions-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Board Transitions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve had some transitions on our board of directors recently. <strong>Joe Platzner<\/strong> of Bellevue, <strong>Joan McBride<\/strong> of Kirkland, and <strong>King Cushman<\/strong> of Seattle stepped off the board at the end of 2013. We appreciate their years of service and will miss their leadership.<\/p>\n<p>In February, we welcomed three new members to the board: <strong>Marie Dymkoski<\/strong> of Palouse, <strong>Petra Vallila-Buchman<\/strong> of Seattle, and <strong>Mark Van Kommer<\/strong> of Yakima. All three are serving terms through 2016.<\/p>\n<p><strong>David McLean<\/strong> will continue to serve as the board president. Others serving on the executive committee include <strong>Brian Foley<\/strong> as 1st vice president, <strong>Liz McNett Crowl<\/strong> as 2nd vice president, <strong>Kirste Johnson<\/strong> as secretary,\u00a0<strong>Tim Hennings<\/strong> as treasurer, and <strong>Ted Inkley<\/strong> as past president.<\/p>\n<p>Check our <a title=\"Board Page\" href=\"http:\/\/wabikes.org\/about-us\/board\/\">Board Page<\/a> to view their bios.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve had some transitions on our board of directors recently.
