We encourage all Washington state voters to review Washington Bikes\u2019 endorsements before casting ballots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>This year\u2019s election is pivotal for the future of bicycling in communities across the state<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with about half of city and county officials on the ballot, as well as a handful of positions in the state Legislature.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Washington Bikes has vetted the candidates and endorsed the individuals who support our vision of a Washington state where all communities are connected by bike.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">See our table of Candidate Endorsements below for Bellevue, Bremerton, Redmond, Renton, Seattle, and Spokane, plus our picks for Legislative District 41 and 48.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is an especially important election for King County voters who support trails. We urge King County voters to <\/span><b>vote YES for the King County Parks Levy <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(Proposition 1) that will provide $182 million for regional trails.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Parks Levy includes $55 million to complete the Lake to Sound Trail, $65 million for Eastrail, and includes funding for the Green River, Interurban, and Soos Creek trails, as well as money for maintenance and upkeep of regional trails. Alongside trails investments, the Levy funds parks and open spaces throughout King County.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Parks Levy needs more than 50% of votes to ensure its passage. Vote YES if you live in King County.
