Your continued support, investments in <a href=\"http:\/\/wabikes.org\/washington-bike-pac\/\">Washington Bike PAC<\/a> and votes on Election Day made these wins possible. Thank you for making your voice heard!<\/p>\n<p>Election night outcomes will bring momentum and leadership for improving bicycling across Washington state \u2013 here is some of what we look forward to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In Bellevue with the re-election of Lynne Robinson and the election of Janice Zahn and Jared Nieuwenhuis the city is poised to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cascade.org\/blog\/2017\/02\/2016-was-just-beginning-bellevue%E2%80%99s-bike-network\">build the Bellevue Bike Network by 2020<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>In Spokane the re-election of Candace Mumm and Breean Beggs along with the election of Kate Burke brings the leadership in place to implement and prioritize projects with new bike lanes, new safe attractive spaces for walking and improved connectivity.<\/li>\n<li>In Seattle the re-election of Lorena Gonzalez and Pete Holmes along with the election of Teresa Mosqueda and Jenny Durkan position the City of Seattle to build a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cascade.org\/blog\/2017\/04\/momentum-building-basic-bike-network\">basic bike network<\/a> downtown by 2019 and complete the Burke Gilman Trail\u2019s Missing Link.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The real work starts now.
