Seattle’s transportation levy on the November ballot will push Seattle forward in improving biking and safety citywide.<\/h3>\n

Seattleites this fall have a chance to make historic investments for better biking and safer streets citywide.\u00a0November’s ballot features the renewal of the nine-year Seattle transportation levy. It\u2019s called\u00a0Let\u2019s Move Seattle<\/a>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>and it takes a huge step forward in making a city that works for residents and visitors alike. \"logo\"<\/a><\/p>\n

To ensure its passage, we<\/strong>\u00a0need you\u00a0<\/strong>to\u00a0get involved<\/a>\u00a0in the\u00a0Let\u2019s Move Seattle<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0campaign!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Let\u2019s Move Seattle\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>levy will improve Seattle’s transportation system in three key ways:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. More transportation choices to improve mobility\u00a0<\/strong>– Levy dollars will go to critical projects, like the Northgate biking and walking bridge, as well as hundreds of additional mobility improvements across Seattle.<\/li>\n
  2. A focus on safety<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Investments will improve safety in every Seattle neighborhood, notably Safe Routes to School improvements at every public school, as well as funding to keep implementation of the Bicycle Master Plan on track.<\/li>\n
  3. Taking care of what we have<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Since no one likes potholes or unsafe bridges, the nine-year levy fixes existing infrastructure, too.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
