{"id":10370,"date":"2014-12-04T07:35:24","date_gmt":"2014-12-04T15:35:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wabikes.org\/?p=10370"},"modified":"2014-12-03T17:00:22","modified_gmt":"2014-12-04T01:00:22","slug":"wabikes-instagram-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wabikes.org\/index.php\/2014\/12\/04\/wabikes-instagram-5\/","title":{"rendered":"#WAbikes on Instagram"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Baby, it&#8217;s damp and dark outside!<\/h2>\n<p>It may be colder, wetter and darker out there as we rapidly approach the winter solstice, but there&#8217;s still a lot of biking going on in the Evergreen State. \u00a0We&#8217;ve got some Instagram images to prove it.<\/p>\n<p>The folks at <a title=\"Ortlieb USA\" href=\"http:\/\/ortliebusa.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ortlieb<\/a> (an auction sponsor and organizational member) remind us that it&#8217;s possible to travel by bike during the rainy season and keep our gear dry.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/instagram.com\/p\/ulVCENsQo6\/embed\/\" height=\"568\" width=\"490\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/instagram.com\/cgram43\" target=\"_blank\">@cgram43<\/a> joined the young and young-at-heart for a <a title=\"Kidical Mass Tacoma\" href=\"http:\/\/kidicalmasstacoma.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Kidical Mass<\/a> ride in Tacoma. Rides are scheduled monthly and the next one will celebrate the winter solstice.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/instagram.com\/p\/u6shc5sQgx\/embed\/\" height=\"568\" width=\"490\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/instagram.com\/lww76\" target=\"_blank\">@lww76<\/a> of Walla Walla and some friends took advantage of the cooler eastern Washington days for a quick bicycle overnight to Lewis and Clark State Park.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/instagram.com\/p\/uOPQhgMQuV\/embed\/\" height=\"568\" width=\"490\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/instagram.com\/blbicycles\" target=\"_blank\">@blbicycles<\/a> showed us that some rain and some dirt can be a gravel grinder&#8217;s delight.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/instagram.com\/p\/wKg8dcsQtV\/embed\/\" height=\"568\" width=\"490\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>No need to give up the bike commute or training ride because the days are short. <a href=\"http:\/\/instagram.com\/joeski_nw\" target=\"_blank\">@joeski_nw<\/a> lights up his bike for an evening ride.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/instagram.com\/p\/uR6XfNMQpP\/embed\/\" height=\"568\" width=\"490\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t let the change in seasons dampen your cycling spirit.
