West to east* bike-touring riders pass through Skagit, Okanogan, Ferry, Stevens, and Pend Oreille counties and through 18 cities and towns eager to welcome bicycle travelers: Anacortes, Burlington, Mount Vernon, Sedro-Woolley, Concrete, Rockport, Marblemount, Mazama, Winthrop, Twisp, Okanogan, Omak, Riverside, Tonasket, Republic, Kettle Falls, Colville, and Newport.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/mapsengine.google.com\/map\/u\/0\/embed?mid=zqY1541wZHmo.kcsHqOXE55TY\" height=\"480\" width=\"640\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>This bike route negotiates some of the most challenging terrain in the state including our highest mountain pass, Sherman Pass, and connects in the west with Canada via the Washington State Ferry Marine Highway system.
