If you are interested in learning about maintaining your bike, check them out.<\/p>\n<p>A few initial disclaimers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you do not feel comfortable with the process, make friends with your local bike mechanic.<\/li>\n<li>Nuts and bolts on bicycles are often metric, but a single bike may have both metric and American (SAE) sized\u00a0hardware. Be\u00a0 sure that you are using the proper sized wrenches and hex keys. It is easy to irreparably damage hardware with the wrong sized wrenches. Adjustable (Crescent) wrenches should be used judiciously and with proper technique.
