From wanting more connected trails, to safer neighborhood streets, to more opportunities for physical activity, Washingtonians are looking for leaders who will advance these priorities. <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>For key endorsed campaigns: <\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Washington Bikes will amplify candidates\u2019 platforms through digital communications and on-the-ground people power<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/live-wabikes.pantheonsite.io\/washington-bike-pac\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Washington Bike PAC<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will make financial campaign investments<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In 2019, Washington Bikes will make endorsement recommendations in the general election. Following the August 6 primary election, an endorsement questionnaire will be sent to candidates via email. Did the candidate demonstrate an openness and willingness to engage and are they approachable\/accessible?<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li><b><i>Viability<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is an evaluation of electability, based on whether the candidate has a legitimate opponent, fundraising and organizing capacity, and endorsements.<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li><b><i>Experience<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is based on the candidate\u2019s reputation and leadership positions within the community, years of elected service or requisite experience to succeed in public office.<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Washington Bikes\u2019 Board of Directors has sole discretion in endorsing a candidate or <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ballot<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">measure.
